ABOUT SALSA GURU PSYON GIANNI SCOTT
Psyon is a DC Salsa/Mambo Legend Nationally Renowned as a TurnPattern Master and Footwork Expert. He started out with DC Salseros under the direction of Ricardo Loiaza, and Elba Garcia. He later joined Latin Masters(UK) and help start the Sandungedo Dance company under the direction of Harry Fry. He is the co-founder, and former co-director of the Clavekazi Dance company under the direction of Shaka Brown, and now co-director Irene Holtzman.
He later established the Merovingians Dance company, and the Mezzlocutis Dance company with co-director Tanya Fiske. His former training of jazz, modern, strand, salsa/mambo, bachata, merengue, cha cha cha, hip hop and afro latin funk, has allowed him to share the stage with some of the worlds top perfomers and instructors, and has also awarded him a role in the up coming hit movie "Mano". His appearences on Bet, Mtv, Univision, Telemundo, along with spot lights in various newpapers like The Washington Post, has made him one of the most sought after instructors in the country.
He has long been acknowledged as the Godfather of "Close Quarter Combat" Dancing emphasizing his tight spacing within the slot and Complex TurnPatterns. Many of his Salsa Social Dance & Workshop Videos cement his reputation as an underrated Dancer and Underground Turn Patterns Legend and Smooth Lead!
