I have been taking private dance lessons with Earl over the last few weeks while visiting the area. I have taken other dance classes before on and off over the years but have never really gained any ability or confidence to be able to go out dancing confidently.

 All this changed with Earl. In addition to being an amazing dancer with great style, Earl is just simply talented at teaching dance. Anyone who has taken lessons before and had difficulty –you know what I am talking about - trying to get the count, keep the beat, listen to the music, listen and get the instructions, learning to follow/lead well, maintain your balance and have a good time – yeah all at the same time – it is, needless to say, not so easy for beginner dancers.

So Earl makes the whole learning to dance experience different because he has a real knack for getting and keeping you at ease, explaining the moves, and coaching you along so that it all starts to happen,  somewhat naturally.  Plus you’ll have a great time with him because on top of being a master dancer, he is funny, kind and patient – really patient! Even if you are a total beginner, like I am, after a few lessons you will feel like you are getting it, as I did. Earl is also a veritable “Ambassador of Salsa” as he gives group classes and organizes all sorts of events to promote  salsa in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area and beyond. So you can catch him and join his classes at these events but if you want to get salsa quickly and confidently, nothing actually can beat the personalized, custom-made attention you get from having Earl all to yourself! Or you and your partner – if you are taking lessons as a couple. You’ll just get things faster and progress with less frustration and you’ll be enjoying the great dancing scene in the area very soon after. For me it was worth every dollar and I highly recommend it.

Well the last event StuckOnSalsa and The-Salsa Room had the Resolution Jam had over 700 dancers . All everyone was talking about was the energy in the room and how great the music was. Well it doesn't matter if you wear Winter White Regular White or what color you wear, we know with DJ Lorenzo Haire DJ Neo Paul Hernandez and DJ Willie William Hercules Sanchez the music is going to be off the Salsa Bachata Meat Hook Performances to be announced 200 for the best Winter White Outfit raffles with great prizes

    Just getting home and all I can say is, "well done sir". The Resolution Jam was awesome, and I had the best time. Earl Rush threw down tonight, the DJs were killing it, the performers represented, and the social dancing was just what I needed. Looking forward to next year already!

    Going 10yrs Strong and Counting- The Resolution Jam Gringuito La Gata GoGo Philly Boy On II The Salsa Room and StuckOnSalsa Presents the Tenth Annual Resolution Jam 2014 JUST.WON'T.STOP! Well over 600 People in attendance, Earl Rush, STUCKONSALSA, & The-Salsa Room have OUTDONE Themselves Yet Again! Dancers from DC/MD/VA, Richmond, Philly, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, & Baltimore All Parked themselves on the Dancefloor to Put in Some Serious Salsa & Bachata Work! The Music was nothing but Non-Stop Jams that Kept everyone dancing! The energy and vibe was on 1000! The Performances were entertaining! Much Love to my Homies from Philly (Roland & Watson) and Pittsburgh (Loyal & Ryan) although it pains me that I didn't get to dance with nary one of you except for Arturo (who I hadn't seen in YEARS and yet we still clicked on the dancefloor) & one of my FAV Dancers Sonny Moyer (Luv Dancing w/YOU)! Shoutout to Winston from Chicago who I always look forward to getting at least 3+ dances from whenever we see each other yearly at a Congress or special event like this one! Fun Dances in Tight Spaces w/ David Cuevas, Dean Allouche, & LaSteven White! Special Mention to the guys from Proyecto Barrio out of HotLanta including Allen Germaine who I just met in person (always saw their videos on youtube) and who gave me wonderfully thrilling dances and especially Fuquan Ferrell, who was also kind enough to let me borrow his camera when my battery died so I could continue capturing videos of the action on the dancefloor! I can't name everyone but Thank you so much for our dance tonight- you made me feel awesome! I'm happy for ALL OF My DANCES! My tired feet coupled with a sweaty top equals a Great Party and a Great Night! Goodnight!
